About Flagpool

A small team that takes the drama out of releases.

We're a small, specialized team headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden and spread across Europe. We build Flagpool so development teams and enterprises can ship on any afternoon they like—without anyone holding their breath.

Why we exist

A short note from the people behind Flagpool

We've all been there. It's 16:52 on a Friday, the deploy is green, and someone asks, “wait… is the new checkout live for everyone?” It was. It shouldn't have been.

Before Flagpool, we spent years inside product teams and large organisations where releasing software meant change windows, rollback plans and a shared, silent hope. The code was rarely the problem. The lack of control was.

So we built the tool we kept wishing we had: feature flags fast enough for developers to love and governed enough for enterprises to trust. Deploy whenever you like. Release when you're ready. Roll back with a click, not a war room.

How we work

A few things we decided on purpose

Every small team needs a handful of rules it won't bend. These are ours—and they're why Flagpool feels the way it does.

— On team size

We’re small on purpose. The person answering your message has probably shipped the code you’re asking about. Decisions take a conversation, not a quarter—and nothing gets lost in a hand-off.

— On releases

Boring releases are the best releases. The exciting part of a launch should be the feature, not the deploy. Flip a switch, watch the numbers, go get a coffee.

Friday, 16:52. Deploy is green. Heart rate: resting.

— On enterprise

Enterprise-grade shouldn’t mean enterprise-slow. Audit logs, protected environments and a 99.99% uptime SLA come as standard. No six-week onboarding, no 40-page order form.

— On privacy

Your data stays yours. Flags are evaluated inside your app, so user data never has to leave your infrastructure. We’re a European company—privacy isn’t something we toggle.

— On scope

One thing, done properly. Feature management, with nothing bolted on. The Swedes have a word for it—lagom: not too much, not too little. Just right.

Who we build for

Making life easier on both sides of the release

The developers who ship the code and the organisations that answer for it want the same thing: fewer surprises. We build for both.

For development teams

Ship on a Tuesday. Sleep on a Friday.

Merge to main, wrap it in a flag, and release when it’s ready—not when the sprint ends. SDKs for the languages you already use, an API that stays out of your way, and a rollback that takes one click instead of one war room.

For enterprises

Governance your security team will actually sign off on.

Protected environments, approvals, full audit trails and a 99.99% uptime SLA—backed by a team small enough to know your setup by name. Scale across hundreds of services without scaling your process overhead.

Small team, serious platform

Small headcount. No small print.

Home base

Headquartered in Gothenburg. At home across Europe.

Gothenburg is a city of shipbuilders, harbour cranes and extremely reliable rain—good conditions for building things that are meant to last.

Our HQ is here; the rest of the team works from across Europe. That keeps us close to the teams we work with, and close enough in time zones that a quick call is never a scheduling puzzle.

Come say Hej.

Whether you're flagging your very first feature or migrating a few thousand, we'd love to hear what you're building. A real person will reply.
