Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the site owners. This policy explains how Flagpool uses cookies across our website (flagpool.io) and dashboard application.

It is shared across flagpool.io and its subdomains and remains after logout for future navigation personalization. It contains no account identifiers or authentication tokens, does not prove current login status, and changes the site header to show a Dashboard link instead of Sign in and Try for Free.6 months

3. Flagpool SDKs & Cookies

The Flagpool SDKs do not set cookies in your end users' browsers. Flag configurations are cached using localStorage (not cookies) for offline resilience. Analytics data is sent as HTTP requests and does not involve cookies. No tracking cookies are placed on your end users through Flagpool.

4. Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. They include authentication tokens that keep you logged into the Flagpool dashboard, and security cookies that protect against cross-site request forgery.

5. Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand usage patterns such as pages visited, time on site, and traffic sources. We may also use this information to measure whether our advertising campaigns lead to registrations. We keep advertising personalization disabled through Google Consent Mode.

Accepting optional cookies enables analytics. Submitting a valid registration form through our website also enables analytics in that browser by setting the cookie preference to accepted, including when you previously rejected optional cookies. This applies to both standard and invitation registration, even if registration subsequently fails or requires email confirmation. You can reject optional cookies again at any time through Cookie Settings below.

6. Managing Cookies

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:

  • View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
  • Block third-party cookies
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Block all cookies
  • Delete all cookies when you close your browser

Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent the Flagpool dashboard from functioning correctly.

You can change your choice for optional cookies at any time. Rejecting optional cookies stops future analytics storage and removes Google Analytics cookies that are accessible to this website.

7. Third-Party Cookies

We use third-party services that may set their own cookies in the following categories:

  • Authentication providers — for secure session management and login
  • Payment processors — for secure payment handling (only on billing and checkout pages)
  • Analytics providers — for understanding Service usage and improving the user experience

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy. A current list of our sub-processors is available upon request at privacy@flagpool.io.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

9. Contact
